Musikgarten is a sequential curriculum and the most comprehensive in the industry, developed by music and movement pioneers, introduces children to the joy of music and effectively guides them toward lifelong, active participation in music
Family Music: Babes and Tots is divided into two (4) semesters. Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Dates are approximate . Fees are due by the first class.
Material: Song book, digital download and CD for home listening and activities, This is included .
Parents Have Fun with Family Music! ... Birth to 3
Small and active classes, so please wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in; feel free to attend and comfort your child as needed outside the classroom; leave pacifiers, snack and toys on you so their mouths are free to sing and communicate
You are your child's most important teacher, please be engaged in each lesson yourself . Even if the child appears to not be paying attention, learning is happening and your attitude and example are very important. Invite your child to participate, but never force them to. They will join in when they are ready.
Please resist the urge to talk or explain on what is happening to your child during song or activity time. This allows them to focus on the activity . Relax and enjoy this time together ! This is not about who has the best voice, or who play the sticks, shakers and scarves in time. It's all about enjoying music together.
Cycles and MusikMakers
I'm a big kid now ! No Parent Accompaniment ... age 3-5
Divided into two (2) semesters. Fall/Winter Semester and .Winter/Spring Semester is 15 weeks total. Dates are approximate depending on lesson days.
Material: Song book, digital download, 2 CD's, listening games activities. This is included.
Classes are small and active, so please let your kids wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in. We provide snacks and drinks. Please leave toys at home.
You are still your child's most important teacher, please engage at home and show interest in their music classes by listening to the material sent home. Please resist the urge to remind them to do their music HOMEWORK. At this lesson level there is no formal home practicing yet.
